Would anyone consider trading Kamara?

For Wilson. I know this will be unpopular but hear me out. I see both sides of not wanting to trade all these future assets to get a 33 year old QB but also realize getting Wilson would put you in the SB conversation again.

Trading Kamara in his prime would lessen the future asset blow. I’m not sure if they would want this type of trade but Pete Carroll is a run first coach and giving him one of the best RB weapons in the league may be a ticket. He also raved about Kamara 2 years ago after he put on a show against them.

Could you get away with Kamara, 2021 2nd and a 2022 3rd for Wilson? Not sure

In this trade you get the QB, lesson your salary hit trading Kamara’s salary while not mortgaging the future much at all. Although Kamara is special, Wilson’s running ability brings a dimension to the offense that we have never had so I feel it would soften the blow of losing Kamara.

Thoughts?

Wilson is good enough to warrant trading Kamara IMO

My only issue is he'll be going on 33 at the start of the season. He has also been top 5 in most sacked QBs since entering the league (only 1 year he fell below that and he was 6th)

Id do it for Watson...being generous you probably have Russ at his best for another 4 years. Not sure id do it.

I'd do it. There's not a lot I wouldn't do to make this happen.

How long do you expect Kamara to be at the top of his game? I love AK as much as anyone but running backs fall off quickly and he’s shown that a lingering injury can really affect his production. He’s a very special player but I don’t think he’s good enough to carry the team to the Super Bowl with average Qb play.

Pete Carroll’s offense, at least in the nfl, utilizes a big bruising back but anything is possible.

Any player is available for wilson.

Kamara is an elite rb but his career life is 10 more years max. Nearly the same for wilson.

Now the amount of compensation we have to add isn't gonna be as much, but he's available

We’ve won with Pierre Thomas but not with a mediocre QB. I think a Kamara is special, but he isn’t a QB. I would definitely trade him with some other assets to land Wilson.

It’s a smart move considering the shelf life of a running back and the fact that we saw Kamara neutralized by just having a different QB other than Brees who dropped down everything.

That being said, he’s a great player, great teammate and fan favorite and I probably would not trade him. He’s dynamic and a playmaker you need as much as a QB.

I think Kamara & Ramczyk are my untradables. But it all really depends.

Of course. This isn’t even a second’s pause. They likely have about the same amount of years as elite players left and qb>>>>>>>>rb.

Same can be said for Kamara and 4 years likely pushing it by a season.

Kamara is the face of our franchise now.

My first thought: Are we seriously debating if a RB is worth trading away for an elite QB?

Then I see there are actually people in this thread who would not do it, so I am backing out of this retard orgy

I'd prefer shipping Michael Thomas. Didn't realize Chris Carson is a FA this season so AK could make sense if Seahawks go different route.

I’d trade thomas or AK or Ram if it meant less draft pick compensation needed to go out.

Keep in mind what needs to be replaced if you trade Kamara though
