Yeh I'm not gonna criticize the FO too much on drafting considering our success since Payton has been here. But I was a little frustrated when we didn't even look at a guy in the mid to later rounds. It doesn't hurt to have depth in other positions but I felt like that's where we shoulda went

draft a fricking LB. shite.

I completely agree, we can keep hoping an elite linebacker falls to pick 32. Weatherspoon was never getting there so no reason to draft a player at our strongest position in secondary. I can see if a top 15 player falls to pick 32, but Robinson was not a top 15 player. I still like Dexter McCluster or Daryl Washington over Robinson.

I will.

Its not that I dont like the players we got.....

but lets simply break it down.

CB is prob our deepest spot on defense. We took Robinson.

and our offense was best in the league last year, why are 2 of our first 3 picks on offense? and 4 of 6 overall on offense?

I realize OL depth is important, but our defense needs depth more. I know they like Casillas, though they didnt know he would emerge as a starter like he did during the draft. But shite, even if he fills out our starting 3 LBs, EVERY back up is a special teams player. How about adding a LB that can play all 3 downs on the field?

And It just makes it that worse that Al Woods couldnt make the damn team.

We are in sore need of another quality Linebacker to compliment Vilma. Do any of you feel Ingram will make an impact when he becomes active? Where do you feel Kelvin Shepard will go in the draft?
