Why is Dennis Allen the savior?

Everyone seems to want Rob Ryan gone, but I see so many people championing for Dennis Allen. Why? Wasn't he supposed to make our secondary great?

Its not like we can do any worse and hiring someone midseason kind of seems pointless. Give him 6 games to see if he shows any signs of life.

I think because we have Dennis Allen it gives us the ability to fire Ryan now. He probably not a savior but it's time for change.

I'm not saying we shouldn't. I just see a lot of hope that Dennis Allen is going to turn it all around and I'm just curious as why people think so

The D is done for this year. Outside of don't play Browner anymore I have no expectations for them. The past 3 games have shown us it's more than injuries, the Rob Ryan message isn't getting across anymore. This looks like an Arena league defense right now.

It's going to be awkward when Ryan is fired, the team still sucks, and Payton doesn't have someone to draw the ire anymore.

we have dudes that should be bagging groceries, that we HAND PICKED in the preseason, that are playing on our D...
you could have Vince Lombardi as DC and he wouldn't be able to do anything with these clowns... we fricking suck, and it's directly because of our talent evaluation, or lack thereof..
