How is it relevant if a man and his wife go to a Strip Club after the French Quarter Fest but before dinner at Sake Cafe?

He is trying to build reasonable doubt. Trying to say that Smith and Co were lit up.

The only knock on Smith was his temper normally while drinking. He had the domestic abuse situation and word of mouth situations we've all heard of while playing for the Saints were it.

He's trying to tarnish his image. Right now everyone is mourning the death of a beloved former Saints captain.

Reasonable doubt for what? There's no defense for shooting a man 7 times in the back...

No there isn't but the scumbag lawyer's job is to spin the story to convince the jury that he was this awful, dangerous guy.

1. Smear
2. Desperate, grasping at straws. Probably hoping there is something incriminating in the video, ie Will blowing lines or roughing someone up.

Smearing Smith will back fire on him in the court of public opinion. It's easy to attack a dead man

It shouldn't. A grown adult is free to go where he/she wants provided they meet age requirements. An adult is free to carry a concealed weapon provided he/she has the proper paperwork/training/whatever it is they need.

I'm not saying that he didn't do anything "wrong" but I don't think that going to a strip club and carrying a weapon if he was licensed to do so is an issue.

People call them that ... until the day they're falsely accused of "something" and need a "scumbag lawyer" to be their defense counsel.

(Not taking up for the defendant just saying that being a defense attorney doesn't make you a scumbag)
