I think we can take WR and CB off the board unless the value is too great, and then you may as well add in every position(which is possible at this point).

I think traditional LB and C are our two biggest targets and then we look for guys we like regardless of position.

It won't happen but a part of me wishes for Martavis. As a project he could be something. But there are bigger needs, so no.

Not sold on Yankee but wouldn't hate it especially since it's later round. Jones could be a sneaky good late round LB. Not the fastest but fast enough and I think immediately becomes our best cover LB.

Man now I'm hoping we can snatch Jones up.

Maybe Larsen or Bodine at C instead of Yankee at G/C.

1. Dakota Dozier G Furman
2. Pierre Desir CB Lindenwood
3. Cameron Fleming T Stanford
4. Adrian Hubbard LB Alabama
5. Shayne Skov LB Stanford
6. Anthony Steen G Alabama
7. Aaron Murray QB Georgia
8. David Yankey G Stanford
9. Robert Herron WR Wyoming
10. L'Damian Washington WR Missouri

Of those ten, I'd be ecstatic to land Dozier, Desir, Skov or Hubbard.

I like Telvin Smith/ Jordan Tripp for LB
Brandon Coleman/ Martavis Bryant/ Jeff Janis for WR.
If no decent C available, do we contact Goodwin!?

I do like Skov, but I think I'm liking Jones more.

I'd be happy with either though. Honestly there wasn't much to like by our pick in the 3rd at LB or C. We could have gotten a backup player but no starters unless we reached.

I also didn't like the 2nd round LBs.

The 4th and 5th round LBs seem much better.

My prediction-
4th round gonna be some offensive lineman from a MAC school; relatively unheard of but a big grinder. We probably will turn him into a starter going into next year.

5th round- gonna take some athletes who fit into the LB/DE mold; guys who might develop into starters down the road, but will be on special teams.

6, 7- maybe a back late, if someone is there. Bigger than Archer, but someone who can get outside (we have a lot of bruisers on the team, and Kadet isn't quick enough to hit the corner).
One more offensive lineman, maybe a big tight end who might become a tackle if he beefs up. Again looking at special teams early on, with potential to develop.

Don't know who these guys are yet, but I expect we get them.

Oh, and again, we sign at least 2 of the top 5 guys not drafted (like we did last year), and one will make the team.

I like Smith, and normally I don't let size scare me away, but he's more than just a tad light for a LB. He'd have to be a Will in a true 4-3 at his size and we don't run much base.

Sub 220 LB is a very hard thing to be and I don't think his talent is THAT great to overcome that.

He may be my third choice after Jones and Skov. They really have much better choices in the 4th and 5th than in the 2nd and 3rd at traditional LB.

This needs to happen, but I disagree on the need for speed. We might have bruisers, but Thomas has always felt like a utility back who can fill any need and do it competently. Ingram, beyond some flashes last year, he didn't do anything to show he's the only option we have at RB. A back with size would be great. Cooks fills the need at Scat back, but our running game needs to improve or we'll still be relatively predictable.
