Surely they are gonna bring in a guard to compete with the young udfas and the couple we have on the roster.

The best available to me are Louis Vasquez (29) and Brandon Mosley (27).

Bring them both in. The more competition the better.

I think they will bring in a vet.

I'm betting they resign Evans for cheap.

It will be another Mike McGlynn--a reject that nobody wants and clears waivers. They're not spending extra money for somebody who is only a slight improvement over Lelito/Kelemente/Peat/McGlynn.

I've never understood the infatuation with Vazquez. He's actually really bad, I rather Evans back up

Sad to say but Evans is about done. I don't think he can hold up for another year.

It would be like bringing back Goodwin. Yeah he can do a decent job but he won't be better than Lelito or Kelemete (probably a little worse).

And you don't insult a guy like him by bringing him back for depth. If someone gets hurt during the season you give him the Mckenzie call.

I like our UDFA's, but I think bringing in Evans would be the best move for the money.

I think we need to focus on finding another veteran Linebacker in free agency. I like Stephone and Ellerbe, but Ellerbe is always hurt. We need at least one more starter and one more depth guy. We may have found the depth guy in UDFA, but I'm not sold on our linebackers outside of Stephone.

I like Anthony at Sam, JL at Mike, and Robertson/Ellerbe at Will

Yeah Robertson is our Ellerbe insurance and people are serious underestimating Lauranitis.

I just wanted to make sure he didn't think we still had Anthony Spencer.

Robertson's not insurance for anyone tbh. He's a REALLY good coverage linebacker, who's going to play a lot, especially in the nickel packages.

Loomis mentioned in an interview that he has not ruled out trading for a OG either. Said they would do their homework on all FA's but a trade could be explored as well.
