Beckwith was available and you draft the same damn position and pass on Beckwith!! One day Saints management will get their heads out of their arse and realize all of the talent they pass on just 75 miles to the west! PS. Tre White is going to be way better than the Ohio State injury machine you drafted at the same position.

I truly think this is the heaviest I've seen, I won't call them trolls, but Ranters that know little about the Saints or even the NFL both posting and filling threads- like LSU is sposed to be the Saints minor league team.

Totally agree 100%. And the fact that the saints passed on both fournette and Adams is inexcusable. Fournette is 10x better than Kamara and same goes for Adams over Williams. It's really unbelievable

You do realize that 30 more picks were made after the Saints chose Anzalone before
Tampa Bay chose him. As a matter of fact Tampa had a previous pick 22 spots back in the same round after the Saints and still didn't choose him. Guess who really needs to get there head out of there arse.

Maybe the Saints really wanted Riley but he was picked one spot before them BUT since they NEVER draft LSU players! We will never know if they would have picked him. Beckwith is better than the kid from Florida they picked and Tre White (Also passed on by the Saints)is better than the oft injured kid from OSU. I am not being an LSU homer, I watch a lot of college football and IMHO these two LSU players are better at the same positions than the players the Saints picked.

Anybody that says the things you are saying is not a Saints fan, IMO. They are an LSU fan that just want their favorite LSU players to go to the NFL team that happens to be in the same state. If you are a true Saints fan, you'd realize that 1) there is no LSU bias and 2) they draft the best players according to their evaluation

Beckwith is a two down middle linebacker in the NFL. Anzalone was drafted to play outside and stay on the field on third down.
The saints JUST SIGNED a MLB to a decent contract THIS free agency period.
All linebackers are not interchangeable.

How about the Saints draft Bowers in the 6th so they can cut him during preseason. Would that be suffice? I love LSU, but nothing you posted makes football sense.
