I agree with this statement. I like him better than Analzone, but Riley wasn't there.

People aren't even sure Beckwith would be available at all next season. If his injury wasn't so significant, we wouldn't even be talking about this crap. No shite he's better than the Florida kid.

Saints draft felt like they had enough with toying around with the future and went and got guys that can maybe help us not waste the last years of Brees' window, which is what they should be doing.

It's a torn acl that happened 5 months ago. Ramczyk had a more serious surgery more recently. I didn't even want Beckwith that much but ya'll can stop making stuff up.

Sean Payton is a smug arrogant prick. The question he gets most often by fans he encounters is "why do you never pick LSU players?".

He just loves doing this.

I believe that a smart organization takes the best player available at positions of need. A stupid organization (like the Saints) say "We will pick the best player available as long as they don't go to XYZ school! (LSU)"

And you know the worst thing, they'll probably just take some Gump to really rub it in! Like frick you lsu, we'll take bama instead! Total saints move. If they don't start picking lsu players, people in Louisiana just aren't gonna watch the saints anymore or go to their games

Yea the saints have done such a great job drafting such defensive juggernauts each year we should just trust their instincts. Dumb.

I don't know about him being smug or a prick but he is arrogant and that arrogance has gotten the best of him in a number of drafts.

It does sting a little to see LSU LB corp assembling in the NFC south. 2 in ATL, 2 in TB, another somewhere?

This is the easiest way to discern idiots/non-fans from the rest, on this board and elsewhere. Ask "Do the Saints intentionally avoid LSU players?" ... If the answer is anything but "no, of course not" this person has no fricking clue what is going on. Stick to CFB folks.

I understand the melt from not picking beckwith.. I wanted him and pocic but.. Adams was a far reach we woulda lost about two picks and a future pick to attain him plus hes a strong safety.. We needed a free safety.. If u put him at free safety u kill his potential and ability at his craft... Unless u plan on trading vacaroo

Do you realize that the Saints would have had to move up 8 spots to get LF7 and move up 6 spots to get Adams. Its one thing if one of these guys would have fell to 11and the Saints not draft them but they did not fall. Please take those purple and gold glasses off and think a little bit.
