2nd or trade for another player. Everyone talks like he's trash but it's only Bc he played at Alabama

I think wouldn't do it unless its for a 2nd round pick. I would probably accept a 3rd though.

5-6 rd pick. With all the cheap RB talent in the draft, why would someone give up a high pick for a running back on his second contract?

I'm not an Ingram hater but you're not going to get equal value when there's younger, cheaper options right in front of you.

His value to this team is higher than his trade value.

Doubt we would get anything more than a 4th for him. Though personally, I think he's worth a lot more. And think he's worth a lot more than the way we have always used him.

Agreed. Draft and FA are loaded with RB.

He's not going anywhere but it would have to be a 3rd or better. I hope this organization has learned since the Sproles trade that moving a proven commodity for a mid to late pick usually doesn't amount to jack squat besides cleared salary space. At least at this organization. I liked last years draft a lot more than previous though so hoping Ireland has us going in the right direction

You don't trade away players at positions you are weak at, or players with reasonable contracts, or players that produce at a level higher than their perceived trade value.

It would take a 2nd rounder or more for me to even start considering a trade involving Ingram.

Fact is he means more to us and is more needed here than arguably any other NFL team. No one will part with anything that you would have to bring back as a return to justify the trade for the sake of saying you improved your team.

High 3rd rounder.

His cost is low
His production is high
His wear/tear is low

I don't see why people love to complain about him, the only rbs I'm replacing Ingram with are guys like Johnson, McCoy, bell, Elliott, etc.

I'd be very happy with a 3rd.

If we draft Fournette or sign Peterson I would take a 3rd. If not a 2nd.

RBs are a dime a dozen and Ingram has wear on the tires. I doubt you could get anything more than a 6th round pick for him.

The problem with Ingram is that we should have NEVER traded anything to get him in the first place, especially in the first round which seems ridiculous now. He was and is a 4th rounder at his very best. It's not his fault, he had unrealistic expectations coming in for his talent level due to a great Bama team that helped him inmensely. Payton of course fell for the bullshite. Ingram is not that bad especially since we would get no return. Alot of the hate comes from LSU fans like me who were really turned off by him acting like an a-hole at a number of LSU-Bama games. We just need to get the most out of him going forward but these projections of of 3rd and 4th round picks are hilarious. If we can trade him for that than of course I'll take that but that's crazy.
