Apparently he likes to eat crayons in the meeting rooms.

How can those types of issues not be discovered about players when scouting and meeting with players

His rookie year wasn't great. He started all year, sure, but he was a liability in coverage, routinely bit hard on playaction, over-pursued in run defense, and let's not forget he was part of the issue with getting the defense lined up pre-snap.

So they switched him to a spot with less responsibility, but he hasn't fully grasped his new position, at least not enough to unseat Mauti.

To add to it all we're running a lot of nickel which takes the SAM off the field.

He was one of the worst graded linebackers in the league during his rookie year if I remember correctly. He just started and looked like he was good physically

Heard he is dumber than a brick and can't grasp the playbook. Which speaks volume considering the Saints playbook on defense has like 2-3 schemes

But we drafted him as a late 1st round pick!! Guess that will also turn out to be a busted pick!!!

What kills me about Anthony is that we gave up Jimmy Graham for him essentially.

Nah, dummy. We gave up graham to keep Brees upright. Seems to be working in our favor.

Anthony was just the gravy from that trade. Albeit, not very good gravy, but gravy nonetheless. ??

I see we are going to completely ignore the part about getting unger.

No... Not even close.

Unger is so much better than Graham for us.

It was impressive if you think making a lot of tackles is impressive. Problem is most were way down field because he was slow reacting to the play. And he missed a bunch

He's not very good

The first round pick wasnt the gravy. Jimmy wouldve never been traded for a center.

So you are saying the pick was what the Saints wanted, not Unger?

The all-pro center was the trade. What round pick they were willing to give up was the horse trading, AKA "the gravy".
