I grabbed him late in one of my FF leagues and am torn on what I should do with him. I know he's getting up there in age but still feel like he'll be a solid contributor for yall this year. Was thinking of possibly letting him go and grabbing Amendola. Thoughts?

Im realistically expecting a Colston injury that keeps him out 4-5 games

IMO if he can avoid any significant injuries, he could have a pro bowl worthy season. He'll need to be that big target in the red zone that Drew will need since Jimmy is gone. Colston was Drew's go-to before Graham came along.

About 65 catches.

Colston is basically done. He wouldn't play on another team. But, in this offense as long as they trot him out there he will be somewhat productive due to scheme and Brees.

Colston is good for another 800/6. I honestly think he bounces back this year as a #2 option to Cooks now that he's gonna be the "big guy" with no JG.

With Cooks out last year:
25 receptions, 366 yards, 4 TDs in 6 games.

First 10 games:
34 receptions, 536 yards, 1 TD

I think he still has a lot of game left in him.

Unless your fantasy league gets points for mentoring young receivers, I don't see much fantasy value from him. He may have a couple of 100 yd 1 TD games but it will not be consistent. Brees spreads the ball around too much. He may get some of the Jimmy Graham type TDs which will be a plus but at this point it is too uncertain.

He's going to lead the team in receptions and touchdowns we already covered this.

I think around 700 yards but 10 TDs. His red zone targets will go up now that Graham is gone, which will increase his TDs.

You're predicting 100 yards less than he had last year but sayng he is going to bounce back?

I think 800 is his floor (barring injury) with a realistic shot at over 1,000 depending on how much the TEs and backs get. Also see at least 60 catches and as many as maybe 90.

If I'm forced to go narrow I'll put him at 900, 75, and 8 tds.

I did say good enough, meaning at minimum.

I think he barely sneaks by 1k and 8tds.

He's a good red zone target but the blocking in the middle tells me running it is a solid solution as well.

30-50 receptions, 600-700 yards, 6-7 TD's.

Age catches up to even slower possession receivers. His yards per game since 2011

2011 81.6
2012 72.1
2013 62.9
2014 56.4

With no injuries he might could do better again but I'm not penciling it in. Ideal would be a transition year where Coleman could take over his role by the time playoffs come.

Contractually he will be a $2.7mil dead money and $3.2mil cap savings if cut in 2016. $5.9mil to keep seems likely untenable. Either he will take significantly less to stay longer, go somewhere else, or retire in 2016. He deserves some extra cheers this year. Might be the last time.

Colston will probably gain 700-750 yards, 5 TDs.

My biggest question is what should we expect from Coleman? I picked him up in the last round in my draft hoping he'd be our big red zone target.
