To prepare it ...soak it in whole milk the night before...cut the the backstrap filet in medallions. I season it with Frank Davis wild game seasoning and garlic pepper. Cut onions thin, thin. Then in a sautee pan melt stick of butter and cook down the onions. Put the backstrap on top of the onions. Takes about 20-30 min. Warm the French bread and that my friend is my favorite meal

I'm gonna be honest... I'm from Chalmette, a suburb of New Orleans that has a heavy fishing culture... and I don't even like any seafood. Any. But pretty much fricking everyone who comes here loves our food. Our food is clearly superior.

quit freaking out, i never said i didnt like new orleans food. all i said is not everyone likes it. there is no such thing as "northern food" anyways

wow the more i think about your statement "not everyone like's yours" its dawning on me. new orleans is famous for food. besides the mall of america and being entirely to close to canada what is minnesota known for.

Where do I go to sample any of these? lol.....I am coming from out of town and could always use some good food. Room for two?
