if he had to have a bad leg injury, fibula is the best bet

the fibula can heal very well
its a non-weight bearing bone
the tibia is the weight bearing bone
no tissues tears which can linger forever
broken bones in the foot can be displaced and heal incorrectly all the time

freak accident and ill be pumped to see him in 6 weeks
