This is why we don't need to take players with marijuana problems

Ray and Gregory might be great players but you can't make a difference if your not on the field. I wanted us to draft Gregory but I rather we stay away from these type of players.

Cheating to win (what Browner did) is not the same as smoking for fun. See Ricky Williams and what pot did to his career. He had the potential to be one of the greatest backs of all time but instead only enjoyed a few good seasons before flaming out.
I have no issues with weed and have smoked plenty myself, but if you're that fricking stupid that you can't stay off weed throughout the draft process than you are too fricking stupid to play for my team.

Browner has also failed weed test(s) before
This is a suspension for performance enhancing drugs too

I don't care if players smoke weed or even test positive for it. It's when they are on the verge of getting suspended and still do it or do it out in public that is the problem.
And a guy that can't hold off smoking throughout the draft process seems way more likely to be a guy that will get suspended for it or get into legal trouble over it.
Browner was never suspended for weed iirc. He only got suspended for PEDs. I don't care that he did or does smoke. I only care that he is smart enough not to get suspened over it.

I think Jordan could have been successful if the Dolphins weren't idiots and didn't draft him to the wrong scheme. He was a 34 OLB plugged into a 43 base.

a huge percentage of athletes in all pro leagues smoke
one or two of them wash out because of it

I'm more worried about his weight issues though...235 at the combine, 238 at the pro day, and reports now say he's under 230. worries me.
