"It would be awesome learning behind Drew Brees," Mahomes said. "He's one of the greatest of all time ."

I'm sure it would, I still wouldn't draft him with anything higher than a 3rd possibly.

Mahomes impressed the shite out of me during that Texas Bowl game.

Dude was running for his life most of the night and kept making play after play on the reg.

If we didn't waste a pick on Grayson, I'd have been 100% with a 3rd on mahomes.

He's was one of the most electric players in college football the last two years. Made me nervous everytime he touched the ball against LSU

I mean if you genuinely think he's gonna be a good starting qb in the NFL that's still a tiny investment. Even the 2 picks you spent on prospects is nothing if one is your legitimate guy of the future.

This dude has an absolute cannon. That 44 yard TD throw against West Virginia was ridiculous.

I'd much rather have Mahomes that Grayson. So tough and versatile. I would not mind a 3rd on him even though I doubt he makes it that far.

I can the Redskins, 49ers, Jets, and Cleveland as huge potential landing spots for him.

Could easily see the browns snagging him at 52

Hell 33 wouldn't be shocking if they fell in love with him

According to a report from Herbie Teope of The Times-Picayune, the Saints met with Texas Tech QB Patrick Mahomes at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana.

quote:

"It would be awesome learning behind Drew Brees," Mahomes said, via NOLA.com. "He's one of the greatest of all time. He (knows) the game, and he sees it in a way no one else does. And I would love to sit behind him and just pick his brain every single day and have someone to just watch do it the right way."
