I would gladly take your seats off of your hands for you.

Jumbotrons really need an upgrade.

But, if i could change one thing it would be the tumble to your death steep pitch in the uppers. jesus christ, i hate walking those steps after drinking. Of course, you can't really change that slope.

I think HD screens need to be added; we could do something similar to Dallas.

I was just wondering about this the other day.

Before Katrina, didn't they have a plan to renovate that included turning one of the levels or the suites into french quarter type balconies? I even saw architectural renderings.

What is included in the new renovations exactly?

If the state economy was in better shape I would say tear it down and rebuild. Since there no way we could afford that, I would say definitely new bathrooms are a must, what we have now is terrible. A big jumbotron hanging in the middle would be nice. Wider concourses would also be a huge upgrade.

never understood why the seats are not black and gold.....why multicolored seats? at LEAST they got rid of the "pastel" colors that the concrete was painted in the club and terrace levels.....WTF was THAT all about? seats should be black and gold. period!

i always heard that the reason they put in multi colored seats was because it made the Dome look full for television even if there were alot of empty seats......

They definitely need to upgrade the screens (if not in size, at least HD).

True. I read that in a book. I believe it was a tourism book on New Orleans. They had a section in it about the Superdome.

True. It was a typical concept back in the day.

People complaining about the video boards obviously didn't have tickets pre-katrina. Anyone who did would know that the boards they installed in 2006 are a big upgrade. I also second the chicken tenders in the terrace. I could care less about the color of the seats now that people are in them.

Brand new Daktronics ProStar LED Boards were installed during the $200 million Katrina renovation. No way new boards are coming anytime soon.

What I have heard from people that work for the dome is that they are going to add plaza seating. They are going to extend the plaza seating bringing it closer to the sideline and square off the sideline seating.

I've had tickets since 04 and am well aware of the upgrades they did post Katrina. Yes, it was a nice improvement, but it was long overdue. And after seeing the screens in several other pro and college stadiums, I think they could use an upgrade to HD. And it's not just for the Saints (Sugar Bowl, Super Bowl, Final Fours, etc.). It's something they'll do eventually; I'd just rather it happen sooner than later.

I'm guessing you haven't been to many NFL Stadiums. The Terrace level of the Dome provides closer and better views than just about any of the new stadiums save for Seattle.

You're a mile away from the action in the newer stadiums as the upper levels are not only high above the field, but are pushed WAY BACK behind the lower and club levels. Horrible way to watch the games.

The Superdome is brilliant.
