Logic won't work here. It's honestly a multitude of reasons he get's the hate here.

1) traded a 1st round pick for him
2) Went to Bama
3) Underperformed first couple years
4) lacked vision at first
5) Seen cheering Bama and Nat Championship game
6) Tore Victor Butler's ACL
7) Whined on the sideline last year

Right now and last few years he has played his absolute heart out and I love him for it. He has a legit shot at breaking Saints all time rushing record in next two years. I'm not buying into Peterson being the starter on this team, BUT I wouldn't put all my money on it not happening either.

Nobody cares what school he went to, in fact that makes people hate him more the fact that you do accuse his school as playing a role. Don't like bama or saban but ingram was probably the most exciting pick since Bush nobody cares that he went to bama he simply never became that back he was in college and he's simply an above average back at best. Some of y'all calling him one of the best in the league is laughable.

He's more of a top 15 RB than top 10.

How do you know that if Ingram didn't play for a team that was more Run/Pass even that he either would not be injured more or have a defense that targets him.

There is no projection for success. He is what he is. He is a good back that has a real decent average that is never going to be the huge breakaway threat and you should count on him for the tough yards.

The Best way I can describe Ingram is to say that if it is 2nd and 15 he can get you 12 yards. Then on 3rd and 3 get you 1 yard.

to be fair, a lot of that has to be more of the OL than anything.

we've seen it numerous times.

1st and 10, pushes the pile for 8 yards
2nd and 2, gets hit 2-3 yards behind the LOS and gains 1 yard

That's made the probowl past two years and was top five in ypc last year. Just barely above average huh. Okay man you hate the dude just admit it but the shite you are talking now is just wrong.

Actually Ingram averaged 3.1 yards after contact which was the 6th highest among all RBs.

He only had a few long runs. He was also top 7 in forced missed tackles each of the last 2 years.

1. New Orleans Saints

The Saints are sixth in offensive DVOA, and the offensive line is a big reason why. It's a bit of a surprising performance from a group of players who aren't too well-known. Left tackle Terron Armstead has missed half the season with injuries, forcing 2015 first-round pick Andrus Peat to rotate between left tackle and left guard. Most observers thought veteran Jahri Evans looked over the hill when he couldn't make the Seattle roster in preseason, but he returned to the Saints and slotted right back into his old right guard spot. The Saints are dead last in pressure allowed, according to ESPN Stats & Info charting, and they are fifth in adjusted sack rate. Sure, part of the reason the Saints do so well in pass-blocking metrics is that Drew Brees is so good at avoiding sacks and doesn't run into his own pressure. But that doesn't explain why the Saints lead the league in adjusted line yards, or why they've had runners stuffed for a loss or no gain only 14 percent of the time. New Orleans is even tied for the fewest number of penalties by offensive linemen (24).
