I believe the Fan issue with Ingram is his lack of production in his 1st 3 years. Until Ivory came in and made Ingram look like a puss, he was loafing.

The dude is not happy about it. Anyone trying to convince themselves otherwise has a short memory. Remember his explosion in Arizona? Remember Cooksgate? These guys are selfish young men playing for personal accolades.

I dunno if selfish is the right word. He is a genuinely nice guy (even if he is a Gump), who has never said a negative thing about the team in my presence. I think all of these guys are competitors and they all think they are the best option to win. I think Cooks was selfish, but Ingram wants to feel the love, if that makes sense.

He only had 78 rushes his entire 3rd year, Still averaged 4.9 YPC. Averaged 3.9 YPC his first 2.
Ivory was with the Saints a season before Ingram and only there for 2 seasons with Ingram. He played in a total of 12 games in those 2 years but did average 4.7 and 5.4 YPC respectively. Ivory just couldn't stay healthy. And since he was traded, Ingram has had a higher YPC than him every season.
