Until you know how much he would sign for (if he even did sign), you have no point.

Yes

Ones a rotational RB who is dangerous out the backfield, knows our system and fits it, will be a great conplementary RB to Ingram, and can be signed at a cheap price.

The other is a TE making top $$$, struggles with run blocking to the point that he had to come off the field because of it(which tells the D what we are doing), disappears in games when defenses gets physical at the line with him and has been punked by guys half his size, and had a problem with the staff ever since contract disputes didn't go his way last season. Graham has never played more than 70% of the snaps in games where he was active. So youre paying someone top $$$$ to sit on the bench for at least 30% of the snaps due to the fact that he is not physical and sucks at run blocking.

Oh and there's a difference in being soft as having an injury. When healthy, Reggie isn't soft. When healthy, Graham is still soft.

nobody here wants Reggie Bush back on the Saints. Sproles was a huge upgrade over Bush and even he was expendable with the play of Pierre Thomas. Now Pierre Thomas is another story. We lost big time in letting him go and keeping Ingram.

Read some of the replies and apparently their are some supposedly Saints fans who would be HAPPY with Bush back on the team????

Gore just signed a 3year/$12 mil deal with Indy.
Vereen just signed a 3year/$12 mil deal with NYG.

Ingram's 4year/$16 mil deal is looking better and better for the Saints.

Bringing in Reggie as a role player 3rd down back for a low price is pretty different than wanting to pay $10 million for a TE that can't pass block.

I find it hard to believe people want Reggie for anything more than the above. If so, then they are crazy and your comparison still sucks.

I dont want reggie at all. we are rebuilding the team and can find decent rb's late in the draft or as udfa. not to mention there are better backs available as free agents.

List please.

I'm not saying Saints SHOULD sign Reggie. But Reggie should be an option IF HEALTHY. The role would be mainly 3rd down back at a cheap cost.

I'm not sure what FA's would fit that bill right now. Forsett? He's 30 also. Helu? Both may strike deals with higher salary than Bush.

ETA: This is FA signing only. Draft/UDFA is fine with me.
