I know enough to know that if you are the premier coaching destination then your head coaches shouldn't ever be wade Phillips or Jason Garrett.

Chicken himself posted in this thread. I doubt it.

I'm in this troll thread and the one just linked. Man why do I always fall for this shite

I just realized he was predicting playoff losses just before we won the superbowl in that thread, citing the fact that Dallas beat us as the basis for his opinion.

Congrats on recent success, but it's still the Cowboys and no money can overcome the lure of hoisting the Lombardi as coach of the league's most prolific franchise.

Solid troll. Noobs, and veterans alike took the bait.
Edit: Why would Jerry Jones fire his head coach, wait until February 3rd(Superbowl) to even start talking to Sean Payton, with no guarantee that he'll sign with Dallas, and have done basically no work on his free agent signings, trades, and preparing for the draft which is April 25th. Jerry can't talk to SP before the 3rd, so he can't have a deal hashed out.
This thread is a ridiculous troll attempt, that has been a total success.

Wade Wilson
The Envy that drove you to disengage yourself from your Extremely busy and important life-doings and exhaust hours of your precious time poking a stick at New Orleans and the Saints is sadly transparent.
Your football team, like another once proud fanchise the Oakland Raiders, has grown laughably inconsequential in today's NFL.
The City you disparage so gleefully is a regular host to the Super Bowl, BCS National Championship games, Final Fours, and an endless stream of other events that Dallas rarely enjoys. The fact that New Orleans is a Tourist mecca, A historically significant and culturally sophisticated destination for the World, also renders your hollow insults rather weak.
As for Sean Payton, Perhaps he will one day leave the Saints to return to Dallas. I like many others believe that his job here is not yet finished, and that he appreciates the support of a well organized, and structurally sound organization. From An owner who trusts his employees to do their jobs, to a quarterback who embodies the term "Field General" as well as anyone ever has, There simply is no compelling reason for Payton to leave at this point.
I hope you enjoy your time on Saints Talk. If it gives you some small respite from the daily frustrations, unfulfilled sense of entitlement, and just plain bad NFL product that is Dallas Cowboys, then I'm glad we are here for you.

Wade, I can appreciate a good troll job when I see one, but I'll play:
First, no one is sure Payton is even a free agent next season. The Saints can apply to the league to have his 2012 rolled into 2013 and essentially giving him one more year. The NFL makes that decision.
It has been reported that Benson is more than willing to pay whatever it takes.
It has also been reported that buying out Garett's contract and signing Payton would cost upwards of 50 Mil and even Jones isn't willing to part with that.
SP has a relationship with his GM, Loomis. Jones is no Loomis. He can't help but stick his nose where it doesn't belong. I'm not sure he wants to deal with that.
There are other reasons that were already pointed out, fan loyalty and Drew Brees, to give us Saints fans a reason to believe he is going nowhere. If I were you, I'd want Payton so badly that is I'd be just as delusional as the guys wanting to keep him. So, I understand why you came here, but what did you expect?
