If we think we can get foster at 42, would you trade that pick for butler?

So everybody is just writing him and Anthony off?

They are done? Finished?

We actually have a competent lb coach now. After never having one of those under payton, it would be nice to get him some talent to work with instead of a bunch of washed up free agents.

I think the smart thing to do is hope for the best, but plan for the worst. I think it would be very irresponsible to assume that either one of them will become legit players for us.

I think Kikaha can still be a legit pass rusher for us, & I'm not going to throw in the towel with Anthony until Nolan gets to work with him. Nothing wrong with hoping for the best.

pretty much on Anthony; if he had any value they'd trade him, but he'll be lucky to make final cuts

I forgot about Moreau. I'd take him at 42.

I reported this first Schefty!

I'd be more comfortable with him at 42 given his talent, but still don't want him at 32, likely wasting the 5th year option and prime trade spot.

If he is there at 32 I'd definitely be fielding trade offers for teams that want him or a QB.

If we can get Butler with 42 (and no more than a 3rd added in), even if we drafted a CB, I'm making that trade all day over picking Foster.

Butler has been an injury free, high character guy who's already at the top end of his position.

Foster is a giant red flag.

I'm certainly not, though I think Anthony must have pissed in Allen's cherrios or something.

I'm not too worried about Kikaha coming back. This was his other acl, not the third time injury the other one (which only got reinjured the first time because they did a shite job on the surgery). It was a freak accident.

He is saying that like he knows something the teams don't.

Beckwith is going to be a better pro than Foster. I say that with and without my P&G glasses on.

Nah I was just being hyperbolic. I definitely didn't call it first. But I, and pretty much anyone with a brain (so not Foster himself) could see it coming.

Nah I think me and Chad were two of the very few rallying against him.

I would have been pissed if we took him.
