My favorite All TIme Saint....I have a #44 Saints jersey that I got WAYMER as the custom name on the back....

Bobby Hebert

Really?

He cost the Saints a legit shot at the SB in '90 when he sat on his arse all season.

Never liked him much after that.

There were so many that went by stupid trades I dunno if I can find a top one. Most have been mentioned. I don't think anyone has said Sammy Knight. In the Haslett era that one really pissed me off. He went to the Pro Bowl and they let him go!? Then get shafted by NE with Tesucky Jones made it even worse.

I prolly grieve over all the Saints players that never were that could have been as much. Again cuz of stupid trades for draft picks...

Instead of 1967 1st overall DE Bubba Smith, Bill Curry starting C, 3rd Rd + 7th Rd picks they get backup QB Gary Cuozzo

Instead of 1968 #5 overall they get RB Jim Taylor a year before for 390yds as a Saint

Instead of 1969 #7 overall + more they get TE Dave Parks- who wasn't bad but not worth what they gave

Instead of 1973 #2 overall (was Bert Jones) which could have been HOFer John Hannah they get journeyman DE Billy Newsome

that kinda shite went on even into the Haslett era too. Ya know Fatass Sullivan was a bust. Remember they had to trade up to get him? Who did AZ take with those picks? Bryant Johnson, Calvin Pace, & Anquan Boldin.

that's enough of those nightmares for now

i hated to see bobby hebert leave the saints....he was OUR qb at the saints, one of us, and to go to the falcons of all teams...... it broke my heart, still hurts today, didnt make sense for either team.......
