He's about to become all pro or something now that our organization isn't dragging him down.
It is a head scratcher how he went from having a very solid rookie year to not being able to get on the field...on some of the worst defenses ever!

I was hoping conditional pick would be determined by his performance on the field this season. Like set between a 3rd and a 7th depending on what levels he hits.

Didn’t PFF rate him really low though his rookie year? I mean he had decent enough stats, but he was really bad according to them

Allen's defense is to complicated for Anthony. It's not a defense for rookies either

Apparently its too complicated for veterans also.

What a complete shite show. I cant help but laugh at this this team.

people get infatuated with tackles because they see willis, lewis, fletcher, kuechly, etc all have 100+ yearly and those are the elites.

but anthony's tackles were often because he got beat and continued to not improve

3. We're actually on of the better teams in the league at drafting, especially after Ireland came on board.

i've seen in recent years where sometimes they'll bring the whole staff over for Senior Bowl week.

and then others where they only send the scouts.

i wonder why that is? They have the shortest trip to make than any other team in the league.

one year (forget which one) they only sent the scouts cause the rest of the staff supposedly stayed at HQ to "evaluate" themselves. That was still while Bill Johnson, Vitt, and McMahon were on board.

The only difference I see so far there (coaching changes) is in the special teams. I think Nolan's group can come around but I'm not so sure about the D-line.. so far.

but anyway.. i do feel good now that Ireland stepped in hard on the Peat pick. Things could be worse.. at the time of the picks (Peat,Ram) I think most of us scratched our heads but its worked out to some extent. Its not what we're looking for or had hoped for but things could be way worse considering Strief and Armstead are on the shelf right now.

love the Mike Thomas pick obviously but the Vonn Bell is looking iffy so far. Not saying he's a bad pick but its a bad sign when he hardly played in Week 1 and played only a little more in Week 2.

does anyone know Bell's snap count for the Patriots game?

He made a bunch of tackles so people assume he was good. He wasn't.

Didn't he have a lot of missed tackles and blown gap assignments too?

It was a "looks good in the counting stats column, but terrible when watching play" type of season.

If we got a 5th for Anthony, the question is what can we get for vaccaro?

Calvin Pryor was traded for a starting ilb on a good contract. Would we be able to get a decent player or a 3rd-4th? Teams might say his potential is definitely obtainable, moreso than Anthony

I think a 3rd is a pretty safe bet for KV if traded. You won't get anything more than that but I can see teams viewing his value at that level and being able to justify it.

Contrary to the mixed bag he gets by Saints fans he is not a top 5 safety but he would be the best safety on several teams in the NFL.

imagine how Dolphins fans feel constantly getting Saints' leftovers.

Saints still won the trade. LOL at the Seahawks for thinking Graham was the answer. He has already had one major injury. This year he has 4 catches for 9 yards, and he's already complaining about his ankles. Dude is blowing a slam-dunk HOF career. I don't know what the Seahawks were thinking, thinking that a seam route, back shoulder bullet receiver would work with Russell Wilson's lollipop passes and improv.

It doesn't have any impact on this team...but it just cements the failure of yet another high draft pick and/or the ability of the team to use said high draft pick.

What has he shown that makes you believe this? Very athletic but lacks the mental part of the game. Dennis Allen is garbage but Nolan knows how to coach LBs, and he couldn't get jack shite out of Anthony. Dude is just another in a long list of terrible draft picks.

He sure wasn't lost his rookie season. Someone else will find a way to use him and communicate what they need from him.

He graded out terribly his rookie year. People see that he made a lot of tackles and assume he was good. He wasn't.

He's only been here for 3 drafts.
5 of his 9 picks from 2015 aren't on the roster.

So in 3 drafts we have the following...

Marshon Lattimore
Ryan Ramczyk
Marcus Williams
Alvin Kamara
Alex Anzalone
Al-Quadin Muhammad
Sheldon Rankins
Michael Thomas
Vonn Bell
David Onyemata
Daniel Lasco
Andrus Peat
Stephone Anthony
Hau'oli Kikaha
P.J. Williams
Tyeler Davison

How could you think thats not good drafting? And I'm not including UDFA's Crawley, Harris, Edmunds, Breaux,

And if not for injury Swann would likely still be on the team.

The shouldn't get much credit for the rookies making the team. Mike Thomas is the only impact player of all those names.

Daniel Lasco

Is he still on the team? Legit don't know.

I know he's not.
