I'm told Chase Young is expected to sign a 1-year deal with the $Saints worth up to $13M, per source.

I like this move a lot. We need pass rush in the worst way possible, and Young knows he needs to produce to get a long term deal

I like it personally. Just how much I'll like it kinda depends on how much we're paying him, but I'm sure it's fair
I think between this dude, Payton Turner, and Foskey, we have a few "good shots" at having a good 2nd pass rusher next to Granderson.
This signing gives the team the chance to focus on OL in the draft. Or, if they sign a decent T still, to just take the best player at 14 (my preference).
EDIT: One year $13M isn't too bad. I'd expect it might be with 1-2 void years to soften the 2024 hit.

for his age, its worth the risk. not sure how much of that 13 we need to push down the road. we needed someone that has the potential to replace Cam.
If he plays great and is healthy, i expect that will happen.
