Because they have a guy by the name of Duane Brown who signed a 7-year deal a year and a half ago. Why would they draft somebody at #1 overall for him to play RT for 4 years and basically their whole rookie contract?

If they don't take Clowney they are either trading down or taking a QB. Only legitimate other 2 options IMHO.
