What?
Baraka?

Are you sure we can trust him?

Now, William Smith.
There's a name you can trust your daughter with.

If Smith is left on the field, we run the danger of having a black Shanle: can diagnose a play, but can't do a damn thing about it; a human highlighter.

Herring looked good at times, but he also wiffed on a tackle on a cutback run up the left-center. Was a little out of position

About Harper....why can't he play that OLB position?
He's a little light I understand that, but if Vaccaro and Jenkins can man the safety positions....why not give it a shot. I also know he is not very good in coverage, but he's better than Smith! What say you?

My word. I just watched the first drive for the first time, and my goodness, Smith is just a fat, slow piece of crap. It's worse than I thought. Worse than I saw against the 2nd team.

Camp body. /thread

Anyone else notice Harper being picked on consistently during their opening drive? Lets cut his arse too.

It would be my dream to cut both of them. Send a message: no one is safe.

I am in for 50 bucks. (LOL) It is painful to watch a fan man run around chasing people like that. Reminds me that I am not in shape.

Saints need a Superbowl contending team that runs a 4-3 to have a terrible injury to one of their starting DEs so we can trade Will Smith for a 5th rounder. :crossesfingers:

Are they playing KV at strong? if so, writing is on the wall. I dont think Harper has a bench salary.

He's playing both fs and ss, as well as nickel corner.

IMO hed be more productive/disruptive at SS up near the LOS. Gotta keep a guy like him hear the ball as much as possible. FS might neautralize him, but hes gotta learn it all so it makes sense they are giving him time everywhere.

Vacarro's main asset is his versatility, and it makes it harder for QB's on pre-snap reads. Same thing with Jenkins, although he doesn't do anything exceptionally well. Having Harper on the field makes it that much easier to read the defense. On passing downs, you either know he's either blitzing or will be the soft spot in coverage.

Makes you wonder how many years we will have to simply put up with mediocre to poor OLB play...seems to be a never-ending issue during the Payton/Loomis era
