Also, the schedule should be pointed out. I find it favorable.

Most of the tough games are in the dome.

Home: Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Away: Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Getting GB and SF in the dome can play a huge role in seeding.

Add a deep threat and teams won't be able to double graham. Somebody will be open because teams have to be honest.

I'm worried a little about CB. Yes we have Byrd so he can mask some weaknesses but we still need to add depth there. I'll probably feel much better about it after the draft though. I'm expecting us to draft 2 or so CBs

Honestly, this is all we need..

ASSSUMING STRIEF RESIGNS..

-C
-WR (Deep threat)
-CB (honestly I am happy with Prob if he returns to 2011 form, but I know y'all will never rest if I leave this off)
-LB, inside and out. ( We are mediocre at both positions when it comes to pass coverage and we will be exploited there if we don't upgrade. This is why we played so many 3 safety looks last season. I will feel a lot better about it if we can resign Haralson and add a stud MLB like Mosley the middle. This way, our safeties can play deep and we can get a lot more turnovers)

I think we are already on par with our best rosters ever (2009, 2011, 2013) but if we add just a few key pieces we will easily go above them, barring injury. This combined with our soft-ish schedule next year and it's very plausible that we make a run.

If we can go into the draft with Strief and Haralson resigned, we are set. That is very few real needs left.. And drafting with no TRUE needs a is very, very good place to be.

That schedule is not intimidating at all. I really don't see a game where the Saints won't have at least a better than average chance to win.

I think we are missing more than that.

I don't think so. Colston and Graham are a fantastic 1-2. Stills looks to be an all-around receiver that can stretch the field. All we're missing is 1 more guy.

It really isn't far from being one of our better receiving groups if we can stay healthy and add a 1st round draft pick.

Graham is the best we've ever had.

Better than 09

Graham > Colston
Colston > Henderson
Stills > Meachem
?? - Shockey?? - he was our 4th leading receiver with 569 yards.

The next threat was David Thomas

I think we're missing a real #1.

I believe Tanner will nicely fill in for Moore.

But we need a guy that can really intimidate defenses.
And not just in the end zone.

Home:
Ravens: not too bad, if ray rice is on the decline this is going to be an easy one, book it.

Bengals: they're really up and down of a team. let's hope we catch them when they're down. They have a few good weapons, and their DL is still good anchored by geno atkins. If this team is having a good week, they're going to be tough.

Packers: this defense doesn't scare anyone at all. Their run game has improved and passing game will always be good behind rodgers with any receiver. I imagine this can get ugly for them really fast if we get the ball first and score relatively quickly. It could end up being a shootout as well, but I doubt that is going to happen.

Vikings: they're just a mess.

49ers: their vaunted secondary is broken up and the eric reid > kenny vaccaro defenders are going to get a treat this year. With losing another safety and possibly a pair of CBs, this is going to test him for sure. Their offense is going to be better as long as everyone is healthy. Crabtree, Boldin, and Davis are all good receivers and Kaep is one of the better read option qbs. Linebackers are gonna have a tough time if vaccaro has a bad day.

Falcons: meh.

Panthers: who's cam gonna throw to? himself? They also lost a starting safety that I think they underrated.

Bucs: this team is by far the biggest ?? going into the season. They have a GREAT coach in lovie smith. Their defense got even more loaded this year and they get doug martin back. Home/away is going to be a rough one, you can believe that.

AWAY:
Bears - as long as its early, expect the same results, a big ole W.

Browns - their offense has no QB, but their skills positions are some of the best and youngest. Their defense got retooled and they have some great veteran leadership. This is a minimal 8-8 team if they could get themselves a competent QB.

Lions - defense is still a mess and their offense just got that much better. toss up

Steelers - getting old at an alarming rate. I just don't see it, I honestly think they'll be lower than the browns.

Cowboys - no defense, Ingram walks all over them again.

Falcons - see above

Panthers - see above

Bucs - see above

I haven't ever really seen Colston as that. Brees does better with having multiple weapons to spread the field with.

I think we've used Graham like that due to lack of other weapons. He was leading the NFL in receiving yards for a good bit

The roster we have right now is no where near perfect.

Although 15-1 should get us the one seed this year.

Yeah, it's not that our schedule in general is super easy.

It's that our AWAY schedule is easy.
That bodes well for us.

We need a center and a corner and wr and one more pass rusher then this team only weakness would be kicker.

Yep. And WR is a position that typically takes a few years to adjust to from college to the NFL. I really wish that we had made a deal for Gordon last year, even if it cost us our 2014 second rounder + another mid round pick for a 2.5 year rental .

Protecting home field will be key. Do decent on the road. Control our turf. Finish 13-3/ 14-2

I mean, not to be debbie downer, we barely won on the road against inferior teams. We also lost on the road against teams we had no reason to lose to either.

I think anything less than 12 wins in the regular season is a bust with this schedule though.

kind of both lol. I think having a true #1 would be awesome.

Graham has shown he can do that over the course of the season, but can be taken out of games when he is the focal point (and injured).

I think a healthy Colston is close to a #1 receiver, but his speed doesn't intimidate defenses

I think it would be a great upgrade, but hasn't proven to be a necessity. Give Brees 4 quality targets and we'll go up and down the field all day
