Because he's a top-15 talent that would be available in the 2nd round. He's got the hands like a WR, and runs a sub-4.4 (according to his pro-day) at 225 lbs. He's absolutely worth the PR hit. He's an instant upgrade over Ingram. If we pass (which wouldn't be the end of the world), we'll watch him complete an all-pro career in the NFL. He's just too talented.

I don't really have to talk his game up. I'll let you watch his tape and link an interview after his pro day. Sounds pretty remorseful to me. I don't think he'll be a problem with everyone being on his arse about this mistake.
