No, I'm over it. Just looking forward to the draft in April now.

I am, and it will not be fun watching games this weekend and not seeing the Black and Gold.

They had a down year bc of all the super bowl hype. They will come back strong next year, book it.

I think they were just the slightest bit complacent (and I mean SLIGHTEST bit) especially early in the year, which IMO is just human nature. There is a reason that in recent history with the grind that it takes to get to the SB and the absolute joy you achieve by attaining it, the team usually doesn't play as well the following year. That miniscule amount of complacency or contentment can mean a ton in a league like the NFL.

Still have a void. Was expecting to see the Saints play this weekend.

I wish I could see the black and gold play this weekend but I've moved on otherwise. SP and Breesus will have them all primed for a SB run.

What frustrated me so much about that game is:

*Playing soft zone defenses against a QB who historically has been miserable against pressure man-to-man defenses.

*Calling a run up the middle on 4th and goal to a RB just signed off the street at a very critical time of the game.

*Reggie dropping what would have been a 1st and goal at the Seattle 3 yard line and missing a chance to go up 14-0 early. (not saying we would have won but being down 0-14 is worse psychologically than holding us to a FG.)

*AGAIN blowing leads, becoming complacent and smug, and not having the killer instinct with TWO separate 10 point leads.

*The play calling on all the 3rd and shorts in the red zone that failed and lost us a chance at at least 2 TDS and settling for FG's - 8 points lost.

I was pretty much over it 4 hours (and a 12-pack) after the game. I mean, it was frustrating to lose to the worst team in NFL playoff history, but we still had a decent year, and with all the injuries and how the team played throughout the year, I didn't see us as a Superbowl team.

I am pretty happy with the season, considering how recent superbowl winners have fared, and I'm not going to stray into the LSU fan frame of mind, "championship or bust". This team will be good for a while. We'll be back.

Injuries, no running game because of it, Drew Brees Having to press so much and throwing too many ints. I think we ground out a hard fought 11-5 despite all the trials and tribulations throughout the season and I am proud of my damn strong football team. Here's to next year.

Yes I made a trip to NOLA with my girlfriend for her birthday and certainly didn't expect them to lay down on defense the way they did. It was good to get back though I have missed NO. Also living in Houston I'm forced to watch the Texans or Dallas.

over it but very very doubtful I watch any playoff action.

Trying to plan to be away from TV during the next two days

I'm actually really looking forward to this weeks games. It SUCKS that we are not in, but I can always get excited about good NFL games. Especially when I can clearly pull against a team like the Bears, Falcons, Steelers, and Jets.

Watching the Packers kill the Falcons will be the next best thing to seeing the Saints in the SB again. GEAUX PACKERS!! Let's get it!
