Carl Smith is waving at you.

It was bad. Playing not to lose instead of playing to win. The bootleg was turrible.

Give a hall of famer 3 chances to beat you, wow if I did my job that bad I would be fired. No excuse just the worst coaching and play calling in the last 10 years.

It wasn't bad he is calling plays to try and get the defense out of position. Naked bootleg to see if the D overplays the run, toss to see if you can get PT to break lose outside. In that situation you want to force NE to burn timeouts, an incomplete pass is the worse thing that can happen to you. Payton made good calls they just didn't work out.

The incomplete pass to Colston gave NE a free time out. Worst call.

When you call plays like that, he does not deserve for me to spell his name right.

That bootleg may have been the only good call. One first down, just one!! Loss is on the whole staff IMO.

This.

I was fine with everything else, including the bootleg. We were having success running the ball to that point. That's why Belichick gambled going on 4th with so much time left. Just need to execute better.

Too conservative. NE stacked the line and made the stop every time. Can't give Brady three chances.

I didn't mind them going for the kill, but I hated that play. Everyone is getting nuts with these back shoulder and fade passes. They are low percentage plays. That's not the kind of play you call when you need a first down. Run a freaking crossing route or something.

The fade pass is my least favorite offensive play, unless it's to someone like Graham, who has a clear advantage on a play like that.
