I'm not a doctor, but with him being able to put pressure on it for a few steps show that nothing is torn? He took a few steps then just had to fall down.

no telling dude. players walk off all the time and end up on ir.

nah - deuce walked off the field under his own power after he tore his ACL........twice.

It could be a deep "bruise" by a knee in the back of his calf. I've had one of those before and it hurts like a motherfricker when someone dives into your leg like that. Kinda feels like a lingering cramp. But I don't think that is what it was. Looked like it was rolled up. Ligaments or sprain it looked like to me, IMO. Not putting pressure on his foot is bad anyway you see it.
Hope it isn't bad but pretty grim the way he came off the field...

I just posted in the other thread that it didn't look like a ligament injury to me. The guy landed on his leg. Wouldn't be surprised to see a deep bone bruise or even a broken bone. Of course, that's all speculation.
ETA: ACL tears actually hurt the most when the first occur, then players get up and walk off the field. I'd be shocked if it's an ACL.

x-rays are for bone injuries, not tissue
so if they are x-raying him, it is because they are looking for a broken bone first
they will take him to the hospital and do an mri for a complete picture

idk who landed on his leg, but if u looked at the leg, it looked like it twisted.. then he was quickly carted off.. probably can't be good.

it looks more like fracture to me (not a Dr. but I am a PT...)
very often someone will completely tear an ACL and walk off easily.
Fibula fractures usually don't create that much pain as it is a non weight bearing bone.
It looked like some kind of trauma to the proximal tibia.
I'm praying it was just a severe bone bruise/bad soft tissue injury from the impact of the other players leg.

The hit looked like it was on the outside fthe knee. A valgus stress which could lead to a torn mcl. Mcl isn't as bad as an acl.
Side note: I had a friend who played ultimate frisbee with an unhappy triad for a year. It was disgusting after each game.

I stayed at a Holiday Inn last night. It might be a strain

That's not necessarily true. If there is substanial ligament damage, it will show up on an x-ray.

I had a CSI vision while it was happening..
It was defintly a torn superior oblique.. And the bullet did not exit. I suspect it was Singletary.

Good radiologists can see a lot more on an xray than just bone.

hope it isnt a tear
I remember when i hurt my knee, the doc said "we will take an x-ray but it probably won't show us shite, you got insurance? an mri out of pocket is a bit pricey"
