Dalton is too good to work with shitty coaches.

I hope he finds a better team to finish his career with.

The way Dalton has played this year is better than all of these.

this ^^^^

dalton is a top 5 QB in the league this year based on his numbers, its not even up for debate that he never was the problem here and its 100% coaching issues

hell aaron rogers threw 5 PI today and so did tua, in sunny, dry, perfect weather conditions

dalton is a better QB than anything else out there that you can find to build a new team around.

you are like the guy who says they should fire maholmes as well because they lost a few games too

Dalton will start next year but I wouldn’t be surprised if we grab a QB in the 4th or 5th rd as a backup. If you look at the top QBs in the league, it’s becoming a trend that there is value in the middle of the draft for a good QB if you get lucky. Using a #1 on a QB has not looked great recently.

What?

2020: Burrow, Tua, Herbert, Love (Hurts early 2nd round in a QB early heavy class)
The rest of that draft was nothing.

2021: Lawrence, Wilson, Lance, Fields, Mac

2022: Pickett

I would say only 2 of them look bad ATM. Not counting Lance when he got injured.

Guess we’ve found Andy’s alter. To mention Andy friggin’ Dalton in the same paragraph as Mahomes or Rodgers, or anywhere near the phrase “top 5 in the league”, is a crime against humanity. You should be tried at The Hague. Dalton is not even a has-been, he’s a 35 yo never-was. Don’t be fooled by empty stats. Do better.

Andy Dalton is good enough to make a run.

Make a run at what? He’s an old journeyman backup at this point. Also, Saints should be doing everything to get top pick in 2024.

Probably some scrub that can’t start anywhere else. At least we’re not stuck with Russell Wilson. If his last name is Wilson, he probably stinks.

This I could get behind, DJ still has potential. Obviously we’d need a better OC. An offense made for Drew Brees wouldn’t fit him. I’m also intrigued by Minshew. I wonder if he really got a shot as “the guy” if he couldn’t do something. Me and Bill Simmons wanted him as the Pats QB before they drafted Mac. Bet they’d take that deal now.

IMHO Saints will start Andy Dalton next season at QB and Allen will be the HC.

Agree, but that guy will need weapons. Other than Olave and Kamara, lots of potential, but lots of questions too

I’m just glad the retards on this board have finally given up on Jameis Winston being our QB of the future. :roll eyes:
