Love how there's always a handful of people getting their feelings hurt because I don't agree with their sunshine pumping ways.

My prediction was 12-4 before the season.

Now...I don't know what to think. I'll go 10-6, but I'm not super confident.

Hmmnnnnnn...somehow i doubt it is that...if you have paid any attention here plenty of us are positive but yet realistic and have given very objective, constructive criticisms of the teams past performances. Could it be because you are viewed as a bandwagoner????

You just threw out a knee jerk silly prediction with nothing to back it up. IT WAS ONE DAMN GAME!

as a matter of fact here was your great analysis!

I think its more of your constant negativity that rubs people the wrong way IMO.

I wish I could go back to 2009 to see your posts, they were probably 99% negative until the tracy porter pick 6 and still then likely 80% negative on the drive the colts had after that pick.

11-5, NFC South Title, 3rd seed in the NFC, Hosts Superbowl after winning their last 4 regular season games and then sweeping the playoffs.

I've said 10-6 all along and I'm sticking with it.

nobody said it was gonna be easy.

We're 0-1

But yeah, we can't just give up on the run like we did yesterday. Going on the road next week, I hope we go out and establish a run game. Drew Brees shouldn't have to throw 50+ passes a game.

Tough schedule, but I still think we can go at least 10-6. I know the team will be better than the one we saw Sunday, so I'll go ahead and predict 11-5, but it's still tough to predict since a lot of those teams could get better or worse since it's only week 1.

The term "bandwagoner" has lost all meaning and is just used when someone is running out of childish insults to hurl because they are mad that someone doesn't view the team with the same rose colored glasses as they do.

Please. I support this team as much as anyone. Just because I chooses to not gloss over major concerns doesn't mean I'm a bandwagoner.

7-9 or 8-8 (4-12 was a but much and more for the troll affect). After looking at our schedule, it's going to be very hard this year.

Call me a "sunshine pumper" if you want, but I think it's far too early in the season to be freaking out. First game of the season and the team didn't perform well. I trust that the coaching staff will right the ship. It may even take a couple of weeks, but I think to claim that the Saints have nothing but a 7-9 season at best to hope for is being overly negative, especially so when all you have to go off of is one bad game.

That's what I pretty much basing my prediction on. I was really surprised at how lazy and undisciplined this team looked.

Payton would have destroyed Patrick Robinson for trotting off the field and getting that penalty. Kroemer didn't say a word.

I agree that it looked really bad from a coaching standpoint. That doesn't mean that they won't fix it. If the team looks the same next game, I'll start getting worried. If the 3rd game is the same, I think then we have a legit reason to start freaking.

As far as Kroemer not saying a word right then and there, coaches all do things differently. He may have laid into him (and the team as a whole) in the locker room, and he is most likely going to see some sort of hell at practice.

Haslett's defense confused us. They are already fast and athletic, but they would have 8 men around the line of scrimmage, and we never knew who all was blitzing.

Just poor game planning on our end.
