Which makes this whole topic point silly. Injuries happen every where in every environment and there are more players that manage to stay healthy regardless of the environment.

That's funny. Because plenty of highschool and college kids do it without a problem.

Well we're talking about comparatively and the burden of proof really lies on the WV haters.

Also, the timing coincides with more practice restrictions on players too. The entire league has seen an increase in stuff like this

Pats, Hawks, Broncos, Giants, 49ers, Ravens, Packers (they've got the injury bug from time to time), etc have all had success

Practicing in the heat would be stupid

Much better to be able to get the work done

I don't understand why they don't practice near where they play. Leave it to our front office to strip all potential financial gains from our region.

When I was a kid, we'd take salt tablets and play bull in the ring until somebody upchucked their cornflakes.

Cramps. We talking about cramps. People..........

Give them some of this.

But seriously, I can live with cramps in training camp. There should be no lingering effects today if proper hydration and stretching was done post-cramping. When I played at a small D3 school, I had full body cramps one camp practice. I would have needed to be carted off, if we would have had a cart. I was back at practice the next morning and did not experience anything like that again. Those guys will be fine.

Cool story.

That's also illegal under the CBA and completely worthless for getting professionals ready for games.

Conditioning doesn't happen in camp, this isn't high school. NFL camp is too short for that.

The modern NFL player is responsible for his own conditioning!
