Will be this Wednesday. Per his twitter.

Have to think it's a done deal at this point and we can all move on. Glad it's not the Panthers.

2023 1st and 3rd
2024 2nd

2 more bold predictions:
1. Saints trade that 3rd for carr
2. Broncos sign Thomas after he's cut

I'd be okay with a secondary trade for Kamara with any to be payton team.

Don't see trading a 3rd for Carr given how big of a cap hit his current contract would be. Either wait for him to be cut, or the Raiders would have to pick up a sizable share of his future earnings.

I don't think Payton would want him

I'm holding out hope that Loomis isn't a complete dumbass after putting out reports that both teams have agreed on compensation, and he made the statement that he wants something similar to what Gruden got. That would have to be:

2023 1st & both 3rds
2024 1st & 2nd
$$$

If he doesn't make those comments, the only think I would disagree with on your predication is Loomis loves getting cute by throwing another one of our picks to bump up a pick. It would be some shite like this:

Saints give: SP & 2024 3rd for
Denver gives: 2023 1st & both 3rds & 2024 2nd

I have a feeling we are all going to be pissed at the compensation.

Saints have enough leverage from broncos asking for way more than a 1st this year cause we know its going to be a shite arse first round pick 28-30 most likely.

It's not even a question if this board will melt about the compensation.

To be fair. They could get all of Denver's picks from 2023 - 2025 and half the board will still melt.

But I am ready to be disappointed again. Just holding out hope he's not a complete dumbass

This was always the case. People took the raiders deal from 20 years ago and only used it as precedent.

Why would you not use that as precedent? It's the only comparable trade of a coach.

Don't forget to account for inflation.

It’s not really comparable though. Gruden was actively coaching the raiders and was 20 years younger.

He also hadn’t won a Superbowl.

Denver does not have a 2nd in 2023.
