The Saints had 32 punt returns as a team for 194 yards in 2013.
The Bears who had the fewest returns of any team (18) still had more yards than the Saints with 256.

i think the Jaguars were worse at returning punts though 
but profootball reference has the Saints ranked last in Kick & Punt Returns.
I don't know if y'all use ProFootball Reference that much but that is usually what I look at.

I'm guessing you work at the shipyard. You would lose big time, although I did work close to that god forsaken place in my youth.
The rookie restated my question which is did we get rid of him because we have a better option, or are we going to change our offensive play calls. Frankly, I think he has tons of plays left in the tank. I am hoping it is the latter. I said this many times last year, we finally had a the defense we have all been praying for and the offense let us done. How many 3 and outs did we get in the Seahawk game in the playoff's in the second half, three in a row I think. How many times did we score on our opening drive this year?

YDS 399.4 (4th)
PASS YDS 307.4(2nd)
RUSH YDS 92.1 (25th)
Not doing the bullshite bounty gate year

Scoring
Yards 467.1 (1st)
Scoring 34.2 (2nd)
Pass Yards 332.4 (1st)

Bottom line:
Sproles was/is a highly respected player in the league for his unmatched abilities as a scatback.
Hard to replace a guy like that, but his prime years are over. Nonetheless, our backs have some pretty big midget shoes to fill.
He will turn a lot of heads prolly in the first 6-8 wks as far as production is concerned just bc Chip will have plenty of plays to showcase his talent. Teams will figure it out soon after.
