We need to get healthy please

Yeah that's what I thought would be best. Peat is at his best at LT and Kelemete is better on the left than the right (I assume he'll play LG).
They likely didn't want to switch mid game with Ram not really practicing at RT and knowing the protection calls from that spot. Now that he's had a week of practice there hopefully he'll do fine.
Good news is that Pats Dline is nowhere near the level of the Vikings', so it should be a good ease in game for them.

I like the idea, but I'm now kinda concerned about pressure up the middle, as well as our ability to create running lanes.

I don't know what to expect at this point. Feels like a twilight Zone after last nights game.
I agree the middle is a concern, wonder up much we push the edge today.

This is the best option to keep Brees upright but I feel like it's going to be a roadbump in Ramcyzk and Peat's development.

How long into peat's career does he keep the development label?

That seems like the most effective lineup. I'm hopeful. Peat was decent at LT last year. Ideally, Ramcheck and Peat play well enough that they say no need to rush Strief or Armstead until they are 100%+ ready. Kelemente is a harder call for me and how it might weaken the middle. We're due for some upside surprises. HOPING this is one.

The plan was for Ramcyzk to eventually take over at RT. The roadbump was Armstead getting hurt again.
As for Peat, he has already developed quite a bit. You're not stunting his growth by playing him at his natural position. If they moved him to the right you could maybe make a slight case for it, but this is what, year 4? He's still growing but he has the fundamentals of LG down.
He needs to keep getting stronger to play inside effectively. That's his biggest roadblock at the moment.

Year 3. Also agreed with peat. He doesn't have the strength required of an inside guard, the footwork has been phenomenal compared to rookie year though

The good news is you can build strength. The bad news is he doesn't look much further along from last year in that department.
But given his matchup last week it would have been tough on most guards.

I like it.
The right side can get and I don't see Streif getting his starting job back. Peat has played well at LT. As much as it pains me it might be time to look at him as a permanent LT and find a LG to take his spot. Armstead just can't stay healthy.
