He looks really old.

You can see the age on his face.

He's always looked old to me, even when he was young.

Anything on Victor Butler? I know he stayed overnight which seems positive. Hope we can lock him down to address OLB and we can focus on other areas for the draft.

Just a gut feeling, but I'm willing to bet Butler will be a Saint by the end of the weekend. He and Ryan will be ready to kick some Cowboy arse when they come into town!

And for what it's worth, I'm tired of just lurking. I check ST several times a day all year long. I very rarely post unless it's something half way worth it. I'm ready to contribute to the family. Here is to hoping you guys embrace me.

Better pass rusher, but I honestly think they would have been better off trying to work something out with Abraham.

Bryant McKinnie, Nnamdi Asomugha on Saints’ radar

quote:

The Saints could be preparing to add a couple of former Pro Bowlers — albeit former Pro Bowlers who haven’t played at a Pro Bowl level recently.

Both left tackle Bryant McKinnie and cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha are on the Saints’ radar, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

McKinnie hadn’t previously been linked to the Saints, but he said in an interview on WNST in Baltimore that the Saints have shown interest in him. A source told the Times-Picayune that there were “general” talks between McKinnie and the Saints, but nothing more than that. After losing Jermon Bushrod in free agency, the Saints would like to add a left tackle. McKinnie started all four postseason games for the Ravens and is now an unrestricted free agent.

Asomugha has met with the Saints, and the Times-Picayune reports that the Saints view the choice of whether to come to New Orleans as Asomugha’s to make.

Maybe Harper would be up for cutting?

"With Harper, they can cut him without having to pay any more salary or bonuses. They would just have to count the pro-rated portion of his original signing bonus against the cap over the next two years ($1.75 million each year)."

It would create another huge hole on the defense to cut Harper.

Yeah, Harper sucks in coverage but he's damn good at all the other stuff.

I would rather rescind or take a 6th/7th round pick for Ivory and clear over 2 mil.

No I'm not saying I want him cut. I just read on here people saying his cap hit would be too much to cut which Triplett refuted
