11. New Orleans Saints
Reuben Foster, LB, Alabama: Given that the Saints finished last in the NFL against the pass in 2016, adding one of the talented cornerbacks from this year's class would seem like a shoo-in selection. Instead, look for the Saints to go bigger. With remarkable closing speed and the physicality to intimidate, Foster could offer immediate impact ability against both the pass and run.

With his tackling form and our training/medical staff, he might not survive his rookie season.

while I think fornette will be a very good running back, I don't think he will be as "great" as some here think he will, I see him as just another "better then average" RB who wont carry a team and make them win more just by being there.

that said, in case im wrong, I really hope he goes outside of our devision "just in case"

Be truthful...you spelled his name wrong on purpose, didn't you.

Agreed. This pick would send blood flow south of the equator no doubt.

He's a bit better than "just another good RB." Given half a decent O-Line, he's an all-pro back, easy.

I would be really happy if we picked Foster.

There's nothing wrong with his tackling form. There used to be, but there isn't now. He ditched the cowboy collar and just played a 15 game schedule

Great - another Bama player for the Saints. Why do the Saints love these Bama kids so much ands seem to hate LSU kids. It's not like LSU players are not getting drafted - there are more of them in the NFL than Bama players. I've pretty much quit following the Saints because of this.

We've had 3 Bama kids over the last decade. Over that same span we've had 3 LSU kids.

Maybe bama is not really a good team with good players but a cult of evil conjurers with spells and communist symps that spoil the purity of football in the south?

You should separate your Saints and LSU fandoms. They are not one in the same. I'd love for the Saints to draft Foster because I want him to be successful, I think he'll be successful, and I'd like him to do that for the Saints.

However, if they draft Barnett, I'd be extremely happy even though he went to a rival school.

And you bet your arse I cheer as loud as anyone when Thomas plays well even though he roasted Alabama in the playoffs.
