1. The guy who gets paid to write for the New Orleans Saints shoudnt get giddy like a teenage girl before prom every time the team loses. The guy is more excited when they Saints lose than when they win. I understand he should be "objective" but he isnt. He is as happy as a teenage boy catching a glimpse of the neighbors sister in the shower every time the tinniest hiccups occurs in this franchise.
2. When the bounty thing hit he was so far up Goodells arse i could smell the digested shite he had for lunch the day before while i was reading his articles.
3. I really dont care if you are Jeff Duncan or not, but you are equally as much of a piece of shite.

Yes it is. If you are paid to be the writer and main media point man for a team and its cities newspaper you probably shouldnt be a pompous assclown everytime they lose and you sholdnt be the first person to shiton the team when something goes wrong. My feelings arent hurt. I pay that fricks salary (i have a subscription to the times pique, and i read his articles on NOLA.com), and i think he sucks at his job. I have every right to criticize him.

Is this a column or an article? Big difference. If its a column he doesn't have to be unbiased or objective. If its a news article he does. I assume its a column cause he comes off as a douche there. Almost seems to be taunting the saints.

Exactly. The man can say whatever he wants in his own personal column, but its journalistically unprofessional to report a story with that much editorial.
Either way, if he likes his job he should not try and kick the locals when they're down.
I don't get why sports journalists have to try and editorialize games as if this game was a manifesto of why the 49ers have control over the saints. It's a game. It doesn't have an abstract meaning.

Duncan isn't a fan, which I'm fine with, but he shouldn't have something against the team he's covering, which seems to be the case. He was insufferable during the bounty coverage. He had his head firmly planted in the NFL's crotch, ready to lap anything that game out. "Oh guys, this is pretty damning."

I didnt even notice that. How the frick is this dude still employed by a New Orleans newspaper? I'm going to start writing the time-piq a letter and email asking for his job. I have all Christmas break to gather evidence of his shitty reporting, NFL bias and horrendous excitement at the injury of our team's players. Ill post the email on here so more people can send it. Duncan used to write great pieces about the Saints and obviously was a supporter. He even wrote a memoir detailing the greatest stories from throughout their history, up to the Super Bowl.

But sometime right after the SB, his tone changed drastically. Me theory is Payton did something to piss him off (I've heard rumors of kicking him off a team flight or something?? No basis for that.) and after that occurred, Duncan became an avid Payton-basher, even when we were destroying teams left and right last year.
I think this hate also coincides with Duncan's goal of getting a nat'l job, hence his "objectiveness" when it comes to writing about the Saints, which really means he just hates on them to appeal to people outside of New Orleans. Which is dumb. Because the only people that read his articles live in New Orleans.
