Not quite right.
He was due a roster bonus so he was getting that money guaranteed one way or another as soon as it kicked in.
But the beach video didn't come out until after the bonus was due to kick in so we were blindsided by that after the fact.
And twitter and dumb comments aside he acted like a model citizen up to that point.

Minus the stripper incident but I think that happened close to the roster bonus date (or I could be misremembering), but seeing as how her attorney dropped her and then she refused to testify I think that's more of a case of picking up bad trash that didn't want to leave.

It's probably true and a real bummer. The good news is Breaux is a legit #1 corner and with how well PJ Williams and Crawley are playing, we still might be in good shape.
But this is definitely disappointing news.
And of course with tight-lip Payton we won't hear a fricking thing for months.

I thought PJ Williams would play ahead of him even if he did come back, because he'd never be fully healthy. Once a player starts having issues like this, I never assume they'll be fully healthy again.

I haven't been a fan of his in a while. Sure he'll make the occasional play, but he gets burned just as much if not more.
Sure, injuries have been a factor, but I think it's just time to move on.

What the frick were you watching? The guy was on one leg and was still staying with elite WR's. He earned his damn pay raise it just sucks arse that he isn't going to come back from the injury like we were betting he would.
Oh well you live and you learn, and you hope your young guys step up. Which will be helped tremendously if the dline and linebackers are as improved as they appear to this point.

I heard t-bob talking about you calling Richardson making the team last year when I was listening for a bit last night.
but really, t-bob is really good. he's the only person on that station I enjoy. Deuce is good on sportstalk but I didn't think he was great during the games. he'll get better though.
