Should we make a trade offer for OBJ? No, this is not a Breauxmo alter. I did not stay at a Holiday Inn last night but decided to lighten things up.

On Monday, WFAN’s Mike Francesa figuratively did to the Giants what Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. figuratively did to the playing surface after scoring a touchdown on Sunday. On Tuesday, Giants co-owner John Mara made it clear that he plans to figuratively do the same thing to Beckham.

“I am very unhappy with Odell’s behavior on Sunday and we intend to deal with it internally,” Mara told Mike Vaccaro of the New York Post via email.

quote:

It’s unclear what the team will do. They could fine him. In theory, they could suspend him for conduct detrimental to the team. (The league likely will be fining, but not suspending, Beckham for dropping to all fours, lifting a leg, and pretending to turn pretend snow yellow.)

But for the anthem issue on Sunday, Beckham’s conduct would have been one of the biggest stories of the day. The manner in which the Giants deal with this issue going forward could end up being a fairly big story, too.

Maybe, he is pissed off enough to send him packing back to Louisiana and the small market Saints.

Would teach him a lesson sending him home in disgrace.

Win win for LSU fans wanting a Tiger on the team and the Saints get a clear #2 WR out of OBJ whose next TD celebration will be a simulated #2.

Eli is done, and OBJ will help get another QB there.

Do you think a Diva WR like OBJ wants to come to New Orleans?

Draft picks help you get another QB. Maybe they going to tank like the Colts did.

I’d rather keep Thomas’ contract than pay OBJ. The WR FA list is long next year. We can likely get a really good WR (if we want) at a decent price without overpaying.

He'd be the best WR to ever put on a Saints jersey

We got rid of Cooks because he was a diva and a distraction and now you guys want to bring in the worst distraction in the league and give up some of our best players and or first round picks to do so? Bunch of rantards up in here!

I don't know, can he play cornerback?

Defensive backs and offensive linemen are the only position we should be pursuing right now.
