Drew needs some WR weapons...it's a travesty as to how little support this front office has provided Drew with over the years. It's a testament to Drew's brilliance that he will break all the passing records in the NFL with no names and so few pro bowlers on the the receiving end.

The only thing the Saints can do that would be even more retarded is trade Brees for a WR.

I couldn't disagree more. WR has not been an issue, whether it's 1st rounders or UDFAs. If they thought it was that big of a problem, then why trade Cooks....to turn around and trade away Ingram for another WR? We have many other needs and WR isn't one of them. JMO

We are paying top dollar for Drews brilliance. That's part of the deal when your paying your QB 20+ million. He should be providing that brilliance so we can use our resources elsewhere.

Drew Brees himself would vehemently disagree with you

We drafted Cooks because our receivers were so terrible and went back and drafted Thomas after that. We have lost plenty of games because of lack of play makers on offense. Now, the thought is that Ginn will be able to replace Cooks. Watching Ginn play, Im nlt so sure about that.

Jimmy Graham, Marques Colston, Jeremy Shockey, Darren Sproles, Brandin Cooks...he's had plenty of weapons. Brady plays with Julian Edelman and the frickaround gang and just won a Super Bowl.

Brees can make the offense top tier with no name guys.

The organization has failed him on the defensive side of the ball

Really? We've lost far more games due to our defense.

Like I said, if WR is in dire straits.....why trade Cooks? Also, why didn't they draft one?

I would only/have traded Ingram for a

Linebacker (Jamie collins)
Cornerback (Malcolm butler)
Defensive end (Chandler Jones)

And that's about it.

Less than half those names are receivers.

And with all due respect to Colston, while a good receiver, I wouldn't say he is a "weapon" to the likes of a Beckham, Jones, or Brown.

Look at what Tom Brady did with Randy Moss. Ridiculous regular season and playoff run that ended with a miracle catch beating them for the super bowl.

Imagine if Brees had an actual weapon and not just good receiving tight ends/running backs.
