I don't think any other team is going to offer a #1 and I want to feel like we have won this trade.

Saints hold the 42nd pick (10th in the Second Round)

If the rumors are true Texans are offering the 57th pick (25th in the 2nd round)

I suspect that a backroom deal has always been in place to send the Pats back their 32nd pick, but I would love to have 11 and 32 and have 5th year rights on 2 players than 11 and 42.

A win would be straight up for a third.

A second is equal trade.

If Hou really is offering their second we'd have to offer ours or maybe both thirds or a third and next year's third to even come close.

They traded their best defensive player "Jamie Collins" to Cleveland for a 4th round pick. Butler deserves no higher than that imo but with us being the Saints....

Where to even begin.

Collins was traded for a half season left on his contract, where he supposedly wanted Von Miller money. He was going to be a FA.

So basically, the browns traded for the right to use the franchise tag

What do yall think the actual chances are percentage wise that we give them the #32 pick back? That would just be terrible. That'd mean we gave up Brandin Cooks, a 23 year old star WR with 2 years left on his deal, for a 3rd round pick. And it'd mean we gave up a 1st round pick for a 27 year old corner on the last year of his deal, just to offer him a huge contract

We're going to end up getting this done for our 2nd round pick, which is gay. Houston just had to put a turd in the punchbowl

this is just like the cooks rumors, most likely none of these teams are even offering much less offering anything near as much as rumors say

remember the rumors of titans offering #18 and eagles offering the #14 for cooks?

Im ok offering our 3rd and maybe our 6th or 7th. Anything more than that, I say F Em and lets take our chance with a deep CB class.

Pats fans think that we're only getting Butler if we offer the 11th pick.

Depends on if Hou is a serious suitor. If they'll legit give up a second and Butler likes their contract offer we'll have to give more than that.

I wouldn't. I'd consider a 3rd...but to be honest, I don't like giving up high picks for what is essentially a free agent contract.

If the Texas are offering a 2nd round pick, you tip your cap to them and move on, IMO.
