we weren't getting the respect we deserved...
i thought everyone liked us... we score a lot of points, have a superstar QB, we're fun to watch
now we gave up even more yesterday but admit it, love the saints or hate the saints, you were watching

I watched the game in Dallas the day after the cotton bowl and it was the same way. I learned that annoying redneck cowboys fans HATE the saints.

Do I honestly have to post every single commentator saying Brady was done, Belichick is a POS, and even Colinsworth saying the Patriots suck as they were destroying the Jets earlier this year? Did you miss the year long shite fest in 2007 where commentators and sports writers were openly hoping the Patriots lost? They are getting a lot of attention this year, but they are also have the best record in the league, went 4-0 against playoff teams down the stretch, and looked absolutely dominant against the Bears, Steelers, and Jets.

In gullbeau s column today he said the Saints were again the laughing stock of the league, or something close to that. An 11-5 team is a joke? also a team that by the end of the game was completely out of RB s , and he said the Saints had no excuses. An 11-5 team a joke? I was very proud of our joke 11-5 team. Sean will tweak this team and be ready for another run next year. I dont understand the hate for the Saints at all.

Seriously though, I'm surprised at this. I was raised in Aalbama half of my life and most of it is Saints territory until you get close to Huntsville and it becomes a Titans fan base. No one cares for Atlanta.
It must be the perceived extra media attention and the fact that Katrina was five years ago.

Nail on the head. Considering the "Who Dat" shite talking, the Katrina story, and the contagious attitude thats based off the belief that "New Orleans deserves to win" is why the rest of the nation either hates you or perceives you as irrelevant.
