I'm willing to bet that Dallas will restructure Dak's contract very soon. No way they let him play out his rookie contract as is.

I don't think they are allowed to touch it until year 3, and you're negotiating from a position of power with such a low cap number in the final year

Absolutely not. Drew isn't even physically capable anymore of making the throws Dak can make

Drew would say yes to that trade.

Damn ungrateful Saints fans...

That is actually a legitimate fact that any nfl scout would agree with. Not saying he's a better QB, but Dak has a better arm than Drew does at this point in his career and it's not even close. Also I think you meant, "You're trying too hard." Maybe you should start trying harder

You're such a dumb frick. And I almost feel bad about saying that because part of me truly believes you're a special needs kid who simply found a computer already logged on.

That's not the reason you're feeling bad man. It goes a whole lot deeper than that when a special needs child can rile you up to this extent with Internet forum posts

Yeah because having a good arm is all it takes to be a good NFL qb. Dak would have to do it for more than one season to prove he's worthy of a future hall of famer some of you people make me giggle.

He was pretty inaccurate throwing downfield this season.

But hey, it got there faster I guess.

He likes the attention. No one is as stupid as he acts

Why trade for Drew when you ALREADY HAVE Romo????

Very similar style and skill set QBS

Plus , as good as Brees is there would be a one or two season learning curve lag before Drew could reasonably be expected to learn the Dallas offence and players well enough to run it better than Romo
Salary Cap implications are a wash so.......

That being said I would swap Dak and his salary hit for Brees and his salary cap hit IN A HEARTBEAT!

What happens if and when dak has his sophomore slump next year?

Some of you fricks have already labeled him the next aikman and it's way too early to say anything for sure on dak.

Dallas with that trade would be the odds on favorite to win the Superbowl by a wide margin next season.

Drew with JW and EE and dez would be nasty with that line.

Jerry would do that instantly

No. He wouldn't. Only a Saints Homer would think Dallas throws away their QB for the next 15-20 years for a guy who isn't even a top 3 QB in the league with a few years left in him.

Interesting thought. Dak folded like an umbrella coming down the stretch.

Dak benefited by being in the right place at the right time. It's hard not being successful with that line and those weapons around him. If he's with...let's say the Rams, no one is even talking about him. Plus, he would be a terrible fit in this offense. He's perfect for the Cowboys and the habitual choking that goes on with that franchise.
