So the 12 people who post on here don't like Hokie. Think he gives a FRICK about what you aholes think of him. If you want some intellectual to do color for a football game switch to golf or maybe tennis. He'll guess you people hated Dandy Don too

Just don't want a caveman doing it.

I know it is only a wish. But I would love them to bring Archie back once the boys retire.

Some poster a while back called hokie a "cajun porkie pig"

It's fairly accurate

Jim & Archie were my favorite booth team of all time

Their senses of humor complimented each other perfectly -- the sarcastic yankee and the good ole boy

I couldn't agree more. Archie and Jim were like listening to two good buddies digging into each other while having a beer or two and watching the game. Where Hokie's concerned, I appreciate what he did as a player for LSU and the Saints but he just doesn't cut it on the radio.

Hokie hasn't been the same since Reggie left. I miss his "git it, Reggie" grunts every 3rd down.

This is just ignorant. It's all the man talks about 24/7. I've spent plenty nights sitting around drinking with him and say what you want about his skill on air but the man loves football and the Saints.

I've been somewhat pleased with Stinchcomb on color on the CST broadcasts. He could make a decent replacement for Hokie.

I don't think Archie would ever return to the booth.

Please do not use the term illiterate when addressing Buddy D! He was a true journalist, far from illiterate . Later in life, it is obvious he had a speech issue, I'll agree, to say the least. He was fun to pick on and he'd join the joke.

But Buddy D could put pen to paper and write about sports or life very well. Please don't confuse literacy with "All NOLA sports talk guys are illiterate. Must be slobbering-impeded drunk bum".
