This guy doing commentary for the Cardinals is terrible. Some former fullback for them. Sounds just like Jessie Ventura.

Wasn't Scott Fujiter being talked about replacing holkie??? Think him or even stinch would make the commentary more relevent. The fact that they played on the SB team gives them instant credibility with the fans

I think it may well be the pain from his playing days. It seems like a few years back he started getting much more negative and grumpy. IIRC, during the year the Saints ended up winning the Superbowl, he was doing a good bit of poor mouthing the team's chances week by week. Maybe after that he figured prognosticating wasn't his strong suit and that's why he's so vanilla now.

Hey cut Hokie a break. The dude is surround by women in his life 24/7. He has turned into a grumpy old man and he is one of my all time Tigers and Saints. Dude ran like a out of control freight train.
I agree that he offers nothing on the radio show. He is however a good side kick with Henderson on calling the Saints radio broadcast.

I agree 110%! I have never liked him as a saints personality... he doesn't even seem to like talk about the sport. Also no way he puts in extra work to learn what other teams around the NFL do or even who are on their rosters! Its sad and his self-entitlement makes me angry when I do rarely listen to him.... Deke has turned into the same way! LOVED Deke when he did High school football only!
