I hope the jackasses paid out the nose for him. As others have said, he's a one trick pony and that trick isn't amusing anymore with the kick-off rule change. I hope they line him up at WR...that's always a kick in arse to watch.

He still changed field position, even as his TD total has gone down.

So it's probably a good signing for them in that regard.

That's actually good news that they wasted cap space on a player past his prime, at an almost extinct position. I really hope they gave him close to the $4 mil he was asking for.

When Devon 1st came into the league he was truly a weapon in the return game but couldn't play WR.
Now that he can play WR he is no longer(by a long shot) the weapon he once was.
He may have some gas left and we will see.

Don't know but he's had plenty of time to prove it.
Dude is 32 years old and only returned kicks last year no receiving.

Yea I don't get a age 32 return specialist taking up a roster spot.

And I disagree with those saying "well if the saints had...".

Nope.
We would have said "WTF a 32 year old return guy.I thought we were getting younger not senile"?

Exactly. We had a should we thread for him, and it was overwhelmingly no.

This is the type of signing that a franchise with no vision or direction does, and they do this type of signing every year.
