This made me chuckle:

quote:

Sean Payton was still agitated about it Friday, saying that he and General Manager Mickey Loomis would bring it up the league’s spring meetings.

“It’s a challenge, but yet it’s a very simple fix,” he said. “And it’s just common sense, which is making sure the teams playing on Thursday play the early game the week before. But that suggestion box is on the third floor of a two-story building.”

Got tired of getting your arse handed to you on the Pelicans board I see. Anyway, it would not be as bad if they didn't have to travel. Even than they still whipped the piss out of the panthers. It is still a legit gripe.

How does that help your argument when both of those teams lost the Thursday night game they played?

Whats your point? Thats more indications of bullshite scheduling. Payton was not just singling out the Saints in this matter. Its logistics across the league you gump.

The argument may be legit but the way the saints and their fanbase have this attitude that the NFL is out to get them is freaking pitiful.

"Late game" is not the same as the Sunday Night game. The Saints played starting at 7:30pm NOT 3:25pm/3:05pm like the Vikings and the Chargers in your irrelevant examples. There's a substantive difference with NFL teams playing night games, it's not merely four hours, it's a major pattern changer for NFL teams.

I've seen some of your work here. You really aren't very sharp, are you?

Not sure, how do you judge? I'm sure I'd compare favorably to you no matter what criteria you use.

Finishing a game at 6-7pm vs. 10-11pm, 4 hours of lost rest.

Think of it this way, when they're finished playing: they have to go in the back, change out of their uniforms, ice up/shower, short team meeting, talk to the press, and that becomes about midnight-1am before they leave the dome. Only to wake up early that morning to be back on the facilities to start their day.

Other players from SD and Minny had the opportunity to sleep by 9pm and get 8 hours of sleep by the time they leave the next morning. our players got 4 hours.

Since you come over on ST and start the same shite you do in PT, I can assure you the majority posting all said TNF suck for the away team one way or another. Nobody is vocal about JUST our team, we all say its been sloppy for years.

All 3 of us lost a travelling day and only 1came out victorious.
